Blue Earth Olive Oil cooking class

Join us for a plant-based cooking demonstration and social cooking.  We will create a Mediterranean feast with a focus on local, fresh seasonal produce incorporating Blue Earth Olive oils.

  • Start with coffee (or tea) as you arrive
  • Participate in cooking class
  • Take away recipes for you to try at home
  • Taste award winning Blue Earth Olive oils
  • Tour the olive grove and vineyard
  • Eat a leisurely lunch matched with The Elder Pinot wines

Our tutor will be Miggs Ishbel McTaylor, a professionally trained chef who became a Botanical Cuisine Specialist. She has been teaching plant-based cooking and contributing recipes to publications in NZ and the US. Most recently she styled and photographed a cookbook focused using olive oil, leaves, flowers and fruit in cooking.
