DESCRIPTION:\nNZ’s most anticipated Balloon Festival is back for 2024\n\n\nThe much-loved Wairarapa Balloon Festival will return in 2024\, with a five-day festival of flying that delights locals\, and draws in crowds from around the country. \nAs one of the region’s flagship events\, the festival will again take place over Easter\, running for five days from 28 March – 1 April\, with New Zealand and international balloons taking to the skies\, providing a spectacular visual display. \nThe lift-offs\, known as “ascensions” in the ballooning world\, will be over Masterton\, Carterton\, Greytown\, and Martinborough\, wrapping up with a mystery location on Easter Monday.
