NZ’s Premier Professional Cycling Tour
The NZ Cycle Classic has been an annual sporting fixture for over three decades and is recognised as the premier international road cycling event in New Zealand. Each year the NZ Cycle Classic unearths new talent, and a number of these riders have gone on to win stages in the Tour de France, the Giro d’Italia, world championships, Commonwealth Games and Olympics.
The tour is based in Wellington and Wairarapa with Stage 2 featuring Martinborough.
Stage Two
Thursday 12th January 2023 – Masterton – Martinborough
Stage two will see riders head south from Masterton to the wine village of Martinborough where the peloton will complete nine laps of a 7.1km circuit, this is a fast circuit – one set to deliver all the excitement of international cycling once again. Spectators’ best day in Wairarapa to watch riders go pass at each lap before an exciting bunch finish. Get to Martinborough to cheer the peloton.
Get a ringside seat along the route or in the iconic Martinborough Square to enjoy the high speed action!
