Palliser Estate is a producer of ultra premium wines, renowned for their style and quality. These wines can be found under the Palliser Estate and Pencarrow labels. We make great examples of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc. Pinot Gris and Methode Traditionnelle.
Our cellar door is open all year around and we have a great selection of wines to try in a light and bright tasting room. At the cellar door you can try out any of the current vintages from the Palliser and Pencarrow labels. You can also check out our temperature-controlled wine cellar located beneath our conference room. The newly-built underground cellar houses our extensive wine library.
Carême cooking classes are based at Palliser Estate, in a specially-dedicated room that takes up to twelve people. At the Careme cooking school you’ll have fun learning how to cook simple, practical, delicious food. They are meals you’ll be able to easily recreate at home. Your tutor is Jo Crabb, who has many years of experience running and catering for cafes in New Zealand and internationally.
